The speaker said that steps taken by Pakistan, the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) for the first time in the history summoned meeting on Kashmir that is an historic achievement at diplomatic level. He said that Pakistan will raise Kashmir issue on all forums.
Asad Qaiser said the present government is beginning trade with Afghan government at new level and initiating new trade corridor with her. He said that they want peace and wanted to see a representative government in Afghanistan.
He said that the harsh decisions taken by the Prime Minister Imran Khan for national development, economic stability and uplift of the people will benefit the people soon and will stand the country on its own feet. He said that the government is taking steps for strengthening the economy of the country to such level to end dependency on other states. He said that due to better economic policies, the government has overcome the crisis like situation.
The speaker National Assembly said that a 220-KVA Grid station is being established at Burhan at the cost of Rs 5.80 billion to resolve electricity problems in Swabi on permanent basis. He said that an amount of Rs 3.5 billion have been approved for the transmission lines of all grid stations in Swabi while another amount of Rs 800 million have also been approved for the construction of Ghazi Road.
He said that after provision of health, education and other facilities, the people of Swabi will not need to go to other districts for these purposes and all such facilities will be available in their home district.
For the irrigation sector, he said that a hefty amount of Rs 1 billion have been allocated in the provincial budget while another amount of Rs 1 billion has also been approved by the federal government.
